Pawnbarian fun game with a neat concept. feels like the difficulty ramps up a lot more at level 4. since the board fills up with blight so quickly, it almost seems impossible to not lose at least 2 lives, which will cost the same as 2 piece upgrades. that being said, i have not played much chess and had fun learning more about using my pieces to avoid dangerous situations and being offensive when necessary
